In brief
Trmeric, a San Ramon, California company, raised a $6.5 million seed round led by Hitachi Ventures on Oct. 7, 2026 for an agentic platform, led by an agent called Tango, that helps enterprises choose, run and measure transformation projects, with customers including Veolia, Seagate and ServiceTitan.
Trmeric, a San Ramon, Calif., startup that sells an AI platform for managing enterprise transformation projects, raised a $6.5 million seed round, the company announced on Oct. 7. It described the round as oversubscribed and led by Hitachi Ventures. Schema Ventures, CerraCap Impact Venture Capital, FalconX Ventures and Executive Venture Fund also took part, along with angel investors Gokul Rajaram, Yatish Mishra and Shailesh Lakhani.
Trmeric said the money will go toward product development, customer adoption and growth. CityBiz reported that the company did not disclose its valuation or how much it had raised before.
Big companies still run transformation on spreadsheets, Trmeric says
Trmeric’s pitch is that most large companies no longer struggle to get access to AI. The hard part is turning it into business results. In the funding announcement, the company said organizations still choose and track their big initiatives through spreadsheets, disconnected tools, consultants and knowledge that leaves when a project ends. Coding agents and general-purpose AI models speed up development, it said, but do not connect strategy to outcomes.
CEO Siddharth Bohra said every transformation has “hundreds of moments of truth” that decide its return, and that companies lack a system to guide them.
A shared record of decisions sits under a team of agents
The platform has two layers. The base is what Trmeric calls a living transformation repository, which holds a company’s strategy, technology setup, initiatives, resources, decisions and outcomes. On top of it, an agent called Tango coordinates other agents that handle planning, resource mobilization, execution, governance, reporting and measuring value.
Trmeric says the underlying data model and knowledge graph came from work with more than a dozen CIO design partners, who helped map decisions, workflows, risks and the signals that link strategy to results. It says outside AI models are inputs to the platform, while Trmeric supplies the company-specific context and workflows.
Founders spent decades running Fortune 500 transformation programs
Bohra and co-founder Debottam Datta spent decades helping Fortune 500 companies run technology projects, from acquisition integrations and large ERP programs to cyber, cloud and AI work, according to the announcement. Dealroom lists the company as founded in 2023. Tracxn put its headcount at 15 as of July 31.
Trmeric’s materials from 2024 pitched something different: an AI platform for IT and tech teams that included a vetted network of outside service providers. The current messaging is aimed at transformation programs across the whole company.
Veolia, Seagate and ServiceTitan are named as customers
Trmeric names Veolia, Seagate and ServiceTitan as users. It says customers have redirected tens of millions of dollars away from low-return projects, cut planning cycles from months to days and automated key reporting and governance work for project management offices. Balamurali Rengarajan, North America CIO at Veolia, said in the announcement that a live view of progress has replaced manually prepared reporting.
These are company claims, and Trmeric has not published customer counts or revenue.
The “$1 billion” figure measures projects managed, not revenue
Trmeric says its platform “powers” $1 billion in enterprise transformation. CityBiz reported that this is the value of the initiatives being managed through the platform, not company revenue or transaction volume.
Hitachi Ventures partner Gayathri Radhakrishnan said in the announcement that IT budgets are shifting toward AI and digital transformation, but that companies lack a connected way to see where the money goes and what it returns. Trmeric’s pitch is aimed at that gap.
